About Roll of Law Games

Roll of Law Games is an independent game studio that produces strategy games that are fast, fun, thoroughly engaging, infinitely replayable, and provoke thought. Our flagship offerings are built on a rule of law theme. Hobbes would surely have agreed with us that life without great games, like society without law, is nasty, brutish, and short.

Our first two titles come out of the gate fully designed, fully illustrated, and ready to play. DOGE vs. ICE drops players into a high-stakes political showdown where wit and timing matter more than brute force. Let's Kill All the Lawyers (yes, that Shakespeare quote) puts players inside a medieval power struggle where the law may just be whatever you can get away with. In both games, the warring factions twist the rules to their own advantage, while also deploying law to thwart their opponent's maneuvers.

Both games combine customized dice, illustrated action cards, and a converted chess board into something that plays differently every time. Fast enough for a casual game night, deep enough to keep strategy players engaged. We're currently running our debut Kickstarter campaign to bring both titles to life. Roll of Law Games was founded by Greg Jacob, a practicing attorney, professor, law journal editor, and veteran of the U.S. Department of Justice, Department of Labor, and White House, who loves good games with good friends almost (but not quite) as much as he loves the law itself.

What's Inside the Box

Each game includes everything you need out of the box: customized dice, illustrated action cards, and a converted chess board setup. No additional components required.

Designed for 2 players (with a 3 and 4 player version offered via stretch goals), most sessions of DOGE vs. ICE run 15-20 minutes, and 30-45 minutes for Let's Kill All the Lawyers, depending on strategy depth. Perfect for a casual game night or serious strategic showdown.
